We are seeking a Technical Administrator to join us at Milestone Infrastructure as we continue through a period of growth. Based in Huntingdon, you will be flexible between working in the office and at home, occasionally visiting depots in Cambridgeshire as required. You will be working in our schemes team supporting our small combined Project Management, Design and Delivery teams.
Duties& Responsibilities for a Technical Administrator:
- General administration duties including:Administering orders received from client ordering system, assigning them to project and schemes managers as advised
- Coordinating and attending meetings, minute taking, updating the schemes trackers
- Updating progress on works currently on the ground, highlighting ‘key performance indicator’ dates to schemes team and administering responses to KPI queries and issues
- NRSWA statutory utility enquiries, coordinates and associated activities
- Supporting Schemes team in ProCore site platform to manage schemes (on job training provided)
- Booking and coordinating meetings, lunches, social events
- Onboarding of new starters, arranging hardware & software, maintaining local training, compliance& PPE records & maintaining equipment register & calibration
- Supporting Project Management team viewing and inputting to ASTA Power project (on job training provided)
- Updating guidance notes, processes and local processes as advised
- Applying for and amending permitting under instruction of schemes team for network access
- support with note taking / minutes at meetings
- Other administrative tasks as required
Skills +Experience for a Technical Administrator:
- Good understanding of managing and presenting data
- Good knowledge of computer systems and applications
- Strong IT skills– particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational skills
- General understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Skilled in providing administrative support preferably in a technical environment
