About The Role

Join Our Team as a Project Manager at Dyer & Butler!

We’re looking for Engineers to join our Rail team on the Southern CP7 Framework Team, with positions available in London, the South East, and the South West.

About the Role:

As a Engineer, you'll be assisting with the delivery of projects from the planning stages through to completion, ensuring that things runs smoothly, safely, and within budget. You'll take charge of some on-site activities, coordinate with various teams, and manage quality on site, all while maintaining high standards of health & safety.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the project delivery to meet goals on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Support the team, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to succeed.
  • Ensure all aspects of the project comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Take responsibility for recording material deliveries and material reconciliations.
  • Track any changes on site and work with the project team to ensure that these are captured and recorded.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operatives and other team members to deliver the project, track progress, and manage materials.
  • Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Step in to manage site operations when needed, acting as Site Agent.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects, preferentially rail.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, contracts (NEC, ICE, JCT), and project management software (MSP or P6).
  • Leadership skills and the ability to support those around you.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection.
  • The ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • A desire for continuous improvement and personal development.
  • Good time keeping and recording keeping
  • Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
