Milestone Infrastructure Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Commercial Administrator to work as part of our Commercial Team on the Hampshire Highways Service Contract (HHSC) contract, maintaining Hampshire County Roads and Bridges.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cost and Value management.
  • Assist with providing commercial and financial reporting information.
  • Work with the operations team to prepare clear and accurate quarterly forecasts.
  • Identifying contract variations.
  • Management and recording of changes including submission and agreement of early warning notices compensation events and quotations.
  • Ensure compliance with Milestone Infrastructure’s policies, standards and procedures in respect of Commercial activities.
  • Agreement of final accounts.
  • Understanding Client Budgets and maintaining constant dialog to reach year end targets.
  • Implement commercial processes to ensure contractual entitlement is realised.
  • Subcontract procurement and management.
  • Monthly cost and value reconciliation & management.
  • Work within strict deadlines required under the contract and required by the company.

Essential Skills:

  • A level of identifiable commercial experience.
  • Good People/organisational skills.
  • IT proficient, particularly in MS Office in particular strong Excel skills are needed
  • Ability to investigate, evaluate and respond to situations quickly.
  • General knowledge of the construction industry
  • Organisational skills necessary to manage and organise own workload.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at levels commensurate with role, both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to respond to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Requires basic knowledge of systems and industry software.
  • Aware of document control requirements and can demonstrate compliance with procedures.

Qualification / Experience:

  • Experience within highways maintenance preferred
