Entry requirements
· You must have the permanent Right to Work in the UK
· A Level BBB or; BTEC National Diploma DDM or; Access to HE qualifications with 24 Distinctions 21 Merits or; Equivalent level 3qualifications worth 128 UCAS points
· Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team working in our Majors Projects team delivering schemes across the South West (North Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire). This is a great opportunity if you are interested in the commercial side of the Construction industry to develop knowledge, skills and experience whilst studying a relevant degree and receiving guidance from a qualified surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
· Raising instructions to subcontractors.
· Closing out jobs commercially on Oracle
· Updating forecast spreadsheet with actual values
· Updating Oracle with subcontractor application details
· Updating of subcontractor tracker sheet
· Preparing aged debt report of distribution
· Filing subcontractors’ applications (electronically)
· Sending claim back up to finance officers
· Significant administrative responsibilities

Training and Qualifications
The successful candidate will enrol onto the Level 6Chartered Surveyor (Quantity Surveyor Pathway) Degree Apprenticeship, with one of our partners University. Over 5 years, you will work towards a BSc (Hons)Quantity Surveying, as well as chartership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Asa Milestone Degree Apprentice you will be recruited on a permanent contract and after completing your apprenticeship and professional accreditation with the RICS, becoming a Chartered Surveyor, you will have the knowledge, experience and professional membership to progress and be rewarded with a great career at Milestone.
