Entry requirements
- You must have the permanent Right to Work in the UK
- A Level BBB or; BTEC National Diploma DDM or; Access to HE qualifications with 24 Distinctions 21 Merits or; Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 128 UCAS points
- Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team working on our Major Projects schemes in Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in the commercial side of the Construction industry to develop knowledge, skills and experience whilst studying a relevant degree and receiving guidance from a qualified surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising instructions to subcontractors.
- Closing out jobs commercially on Oracle
- Updating forecast spreadsheet with actual values
- Updating Oracle with subcontractor application details
- Updating of subcontractor tracker sheet
- Preparing aged debt report of distribution
- Filing subcontractors’ applications (electronically)
- Sending claim back up to finance officers
- Significant administrative responsibilities

Training and Qualifications
The successful candidate will enrol onto the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor (Quantity Surveyor Pathway) Degree Apprenticeship, with one of our partners University. Over 5 years, you will work towards a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying, as well as chartership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As a Milestone Degree Apprentice you will be recruited on a permanent contract and after completing your apprenticeship and professional accreditation with the RICS, becoming a Chartered Surveyor, you will have the knowledge, experience and professional membership to progress and be rewarded with a great career at Milestone.
