About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team. In this role, you will provide essential quantity surveying and commercial management support for the Hampshire Highways Service Contract, working collaboratively with team members to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Your responsibilities will Include:

  • Managing costs, value, and contracts, with a focus on achieving client and company targets.
  • Supporting commercial and financial reporting.
  • Identifying contract variations and managing changes effectively.
  • Overseeing subcontract procurement and management.
  • Preparing accurate quarterly forecasts and reconciling costs.
  • Leading and mentoring team members with inclusive and supportive leadership.
  • Ensuring compliance with Milestone standards and processes.
  • Conducting site visits to maintain a hands-on approach.

What we’re looking for:

We value a range of skills and experiences and are committed to helping you succeed. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying or a related construction field.
  • Reasonable level of identifiable commercial experience within the construction industry
  • An understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage and inspire others.
